Dr. Predrag Matić was born in 1973 in Belgrade. He obtained the title of doctor of medicine in 1998 at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Belgrade. He is a specialist in general surgery and a subspecialist in vascular surgery, has a Master’s degree in vascular surgery, and is a doctor of science, a clinical assistant and a Research Assistant. He works as a vascular surgeon at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases “Dedinje”. He attended professional trainings in Slovenia in the field of endovenous treatment of patients with chronic venous disease. He is a member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS), the European Society for Cardiovascular Surgery (ESCVS), the Serbian Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (SSCVS) and the Serbian Medical Society (SMS). The areas of subspecialty he is interested in are: the prevention and treatment of graft infection, aortic and carotid surgery, as well as endovenous methods in treating venous disease of the lower limbs. He is fluent in English.
