Aleksandra Živković was born in 1970 in Šabac. She obtained the title of the doctor of medicine in 1996 after completing undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She completed the specialization in internal medicine in 2002, also at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. Aleksandra passed her subspecialist exam in cardiology in December, 2017, and defended her subspecialist thesis in June, 2020. She enrolled doctoral studies in the field of cardiovascular research in 2020. She had completed all professional trainings/obtained relevant skills in the field of intensive care and cardiology at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Dedinje. She is a member of the Cardiology Society of Serbia. The areas of subspecialty she is interested in are intensive care and techniques for replacing renal function in intensive care units.
