Siniša Jagodić was born in 1963 in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He obtained the title of doctor of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Belgrade, in 1989. He is a specialist in anesthesiology with resuscitation. He works as an anesthesiologist at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Institute, and since 2016 he has been the head of the Department of Anesthesia. He received his professional training at the Texas Heart Institute and the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, USA, at the Thorax Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and at the Universitatklinik in Halle, Germany. He is a member of the Serbian Medical Society and the Serbian Association of Anesthesiology. The area of subspecialty he is interested in is extracorporeal blood flow and mechanical circulatory support. He is fluent in English.
