Dragana Lončar-Stojiljković was born in 1959 in Niš. She obtained the title of doctor of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Belgrade in 1985. She specialized in anesthesiology and resuscitation, and obtained the title of Master and Doctor of medical sciences at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. She was elected docent at the Military Medical Academy in 2001, and associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Banja Luka in 2020. She works as an anesthesiologist at the Clinic for Anesthesia and Intensive Care of the ICVDD. She attended professional trainings at Odense University Clinic, Odense, Denmark, Mater Dei Hospital in Malta and at Winmek Hospital in Ha Long, Vietnam. She is a member of the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), a member of the Directory of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICIM) and the Serbian Association of Anesthesiologists. The area of subspecialty she is interested in is acute and chronic pain therapy, sepsis, pharmacology in anesthesia, intensive care organization. She is fluent in English and Norwegian.
