Dragan Sagić was born in 1958 in Belgrade. He obtained the title of doctor of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Belgrade in 1983. He is a specialist in radiology and a doctor of medical sciences. He works as a radiologist. Furthermore, he is the Head of Department of Invasive and Interventional Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Therapy. He is also a full-time professor at the Department of Radiology, the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He attended professional trainings at the Clinical Center in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at the University Hospital Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands, at the San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, Italy. He is a member of the Cardiovascular and Intervention Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE – cardiovascular international radiology society), a member of the European Society of Cardiology (Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology – F.E.S.C), a member of the International Union of Angiology and the Serbian Society of Radiology. The area of subspecialty he is interested in is interventional cardiovascular medicine. He is fluent in English.
